The Orton Geological Museum participated in COSI's 2020 Science Festival Celebration (Digital), May 9, 2020. This year, COSI's Science Festival went digital, and the Orton Museum hosted a demonstration of techniques used for gem and mineral identification. In addition, the Orton Museum posted other interesting Earth science experiments that you can do at home.
